New Student Orientation Experience
The New Student Orientation program at Clemson University is the first step in ensuring that new undergraduate students successfully transition and integrate into college life. The program promotes discussion among parents, new students, continuing students, and faculty and staff on the expectations and experiences of the campus community.
Steps of the Orientation Experience
Step 1: Get Started
After paying your enrollment deposit, visit your Clemson admissions portal to sign up for Orientation and pay your New Student Transition Support Fee.
Step 2: Engage Virtually
After signing up, you can access the Virtual Orientation Modules. These modules connect you to information and resources to support you in your transition to life as Tiger.
Step 3: Course Planning
Prepare for your first semester of coursework through academic advising and course registration following the completion of steps outlined in the Virtual Modules.
Step 4: Join the Fun
Finish off your Orientation journey by connecting with new students and campus through our supplemental in-person Orientation experience: Ready, Set, Roar!
What to expect through New Student Orientation
Virtual Orientation
Virtual New Student Orientation allows you the flexibility to get connected to Clemson on a schedule that works for you. All required elements of New Student Orientation can be completed virtually. This includes the Virtual Orientation Modules, academic advising and course registration.
Supplemental In-Person Orientation
As part of the Clemson Orientation experience, you are invited to participate in Ready, Set, Roar!, our supplemental in-person element of Orientation. This program is designed to connect students and their guests to campus and other new Tigers by fostering a sense of belonging, excitement and confidence. Get hands-on resources, connect with your academic program and start building your network.

Orientation Ambassadors
