Getting to Know Residential Life Staff

Your Residential Life staff consists of paraprofessional student staff (undergraduate and graduate students) and master’s degree-level professional staff members who will build relationships with you to find out what you need, how you define success and how you can be supported in your growth as a student.

  1. Resident Assistants (RAs) are upperclass Clemson students who live throughout the Bridge communities and serve as resources for Bridge students. They assist with transition issues, roommate conflicts and policy enforcement.
  2. Graduate Community Directors (GCDs) are Clemson graduate students who provide supervision and support to the resident assistants and live on-site.
  3. Community Directors (CDs) are professional staff members who oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bridge residential life program.
