Jared Seganti is a first year Masters student in history and teaching assistant at Clemson University. Jared received his Bachelor of History degree from Winthrop University in 2017. Jared is particular interested in transnational history of the late medieval and early modern period of the world. His research focuses on the concept of the Portuguese Empire and how it came to view itself internally and its relationship with the world. His other research interests include colonial, cultural, maritime, intellectual, and military history as well.
