Key Reminders:

  • Venue: Hyatt Regency Greenville, 220 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601
  • Registration Desk: Opens at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 8
  • Badges: Please pick up your badge at registration upon arrival. Wear it at all times during the conference for security.

Travel:

  • Parking: Parking is available in the city-owned parking garage connected to the hotel. Self-parking is a max of $10/day, and valet is $33/day.  

Preparation Checklist:

  • Bring a photo ID for check-in
  • Pack a light jacket as conference rooms run cold

  • Welcome Reception: Monday, June 8 at 6 PM
  • Breakfast (reserved for Hyatt guests): Tuesday - Friday (June 9 - June 12) from 7 - 8:30 AM
  • Exhibition: Tuesday - Friday (June 9 - June 12) at 9 AM - 5 PM daily
  • Official Conference Opening: Tuesday, June 9 at 8:30 AM
  • Group Photo: Tuesday, June 9 at 11:45 AM
  • Women in photonics luncheon: Wednesday, June 10 at noon
  • Banquet Dinner: Wednesday, June 10 at 6:30 PM
  • Poster, Exhibition, and Networking: Thursday, June 11 at 5:30 PM

Student Award Reminder:

For Oral Presenters:

  • Presentation Schedule: Please check the most updated conference program for your time slot
  • File Uploads: Upload your presentation file to the session room laptop in the morning before 8:30 AM, during the coffee break (10:00 - 10:30 AM, 3:00 - 3:30PM), or during the lunch break (12 - 1:30 PM).
  • Naming Format: Name your file exactly as LastName_PaperID_FirstFourWordsOfTitle.
  • Timing: Arrive at your designated presentation room at least 15 minutes before your session begins.

For Poster Presenters:

  • Hang your poster during the coffee break (3:00 - 3:30PM) on Thursday, June 11
  • For those of you who requested poster printing, your poster can be picked up at the registration desk anytime starting Tuesday morning  

For Session Chairs:

  • Check-in: Arrive at your assigned presentation room at least 20 minutes before the session starts
  • Verification: Verify that all speakers have arrived and their files are loaded and worked onto the session laptop.
  • Schedule Control: Adhere strictly to the published presentation order. In the event of a last-minute cancellation, presentations should NOT be moved forward in the schedule.
