2022 4-H School Garden Contest

The 2022 Coastal Carolina Fair 4-H School Garden Contest showcased school gardens across South Carolina and the winners have been announced. These hardworking teachers and students earned some wonderful prizes for their schools and bragging rights for the coming year.

The contest is open to all SC public or private schools with students and teachers in K-12. Entries must have had a garden on school property for at least three months and demonstrate student involvement. Gardening categories include vegetable, herb, flower, pollinator, hydroponic, or aeroponic gardening projects. Entries are submitted to local 4-H Youth Development Agents.

Winners of the contests received an array of fabulous gardening prizes awarded by some of the best horticulture-based businesses and associations in the industry!
