Phase 2 Committee Report Summaries
During 2020Forward Phase I, three teams identified visionary goals and implementation strategies for the areas of undergraduate learning, graduate education and research. In Phase 2, several smaller teams were charged with clarifying those goals and making recommendations for carrying out specific strategies, and outlining an optimal path toward national prominence and success for Clemson University.
Town Hall on June 16
Provost Bob Jones and 2020Forward Co-Chairs Ellen Granberg and Brett Dalton took questions and gave an update on where 2020Forward is headed during a Town Hall meeting on June 16. Summaries of all Phase 2 reports are available for viewing at the links below. The summaries are grouped by topical focus areas. You will be able to provide feedback or ask questions via a public website comment, an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
or by completing a confidential survey (links found on each page). The comment period deadline passed on June 12.
What Comes Next?
2020Forward Co-chairs Ellen Granberg and Brett Dalton are currently working through the Phase I and Phase 2 reports and developing a draft set of recommendations. Feedback on Phase 2 summaries will be included. Provost Jones, in collaboration with other University leaders, will make the final decisions regarding recommended strategies. Faculty, staff and students will have an opportunity to preview these recommendations and comment at the June town hall meeting. The Board of Trustees will discuss 2020Forward at a retreat in July.
