iROAR Student System
Registration occurs online within iROAR. Within this system, you will add and drop classes, check your grades and view any registration holds that may prevent you from registering for classes. It’s also where you will apply for graduation when you've earned enough credits to complete your major requirements.
If you experience technical issues in iROAR, we recommend loading the system in a different browser than what you are currently using. If that doesn’t work, you can send a screenshot of the error to ithelp@clemson.edu and our IT team will do their best to help you solve the issue!
Experiencing an error while registering in iROAR? Registration errors are an indicator that you do not meet the requirements or restrictions set for one or more of your courses. You’ll likely need to submit a Request for a Seat in a Closed Course in iROAR for an override to solve the error, but you should first check to see if the error indicates a hold on your student account or another issue that you can fix on your own.
Degree Works
Degree Works is an online tool designed to help you stay organized, on-track and up-to-date on your progress towards graduation. The tool keeps track of your credits, organizing your transcript into an easy-to-read audit that can assist you and your advisor as you begin planning what courses you will register for in the upcoming semester.
Time Tickets
While there is always a designated date when registration begins in the academic calendar, your specific registration time is based on the Time Ticket you are assigned. You can expect to have your registration Time Ticket assigned approximately one week before the registration period begins in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Registration time tickets are 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at two-hour intervals.
Closed Courses
Having trouble enrolling in a course? Whether you need to request a seat in a closed course or are seeking an override for an error preventing registration, the Request a Seat in a Closed Course tool in iROAR is the best starting place. You can find all the information you need to move forward on the Closed Courses page!
The waitlist option is being phased out and will not be available after Fall 2025.
Tuition Payments
It’s important to be aware of your tuition charges and deadlines in iROAR. Missed deadlines result in a $150 late fee and schedule cancellation. You will be responsible for rebuilding your schedule in iROAR, and we cannot guarantee your space in any courses after cancellation.
If you need assistance paying fees or have tuition questions, Student Financial Services can help.
