The Clemson University Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is dedicated to providing various top-tier veterinary services to farms throughout Upstate South Carolina. Our team of experienced mobile veterinarians and veterinary technicians delivers on-site care, ensuring the health and well-being of your animals. Whether you need preventive care, emergency assistance or specialized treatments, our ambulatory team is here to help.
Our CVM ambulatory services will eventually serve as a training opportunity for future doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) students. Students will learn alongside highly qualified veterinary professionals as part of our curriculum to empower them to become day-one prepared veterinarians.

Large Farm Animal Care
Our Ambulatory Services bring high-quality veterinary care directly to farms across Upstate South Carolina. Our mobile veterinary team travels to your location to provide convenient, comprehensive on-site care for cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. From routine wellness visits and herd health consultations to emergency response and specialized treatments, our ambulatory unit is equipped to support the health and productivity of your animals where they are, eliminating the need for transport and reducing stress for both livestock and owners.

Who Will We Serve?
Individual and Herd Care
Our mission is to provide preventative and emergency* care for farm animals (cows, horses, sheep and goats) within a 30-mile radius of Clemson University and assist clientele who are invested in the future of veterinary medicine in South Carolina and beyond. We are eager to serve upstate South Carolina in partnership with local veterinarians.

*Please note that an emergency fee will be added to all services provided outside of normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM).
