Development Services

The College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences Proposal Development office can assist faculty with pre-awards activities. Our Research Administration Team can be reached by email. Our primary purpose is to provide the administrative services essential to enhance, expand, and encourage the acquisition of external research funding by the College's research faculty while assuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, sponsor requirements, and University policies and procedures.

Goal

To provide efficient, accurate, and expert assistance to the CECAS faculty with services including identification of potential funding sources; development of proposal budgets; editing of proposal narratives; preparation and/or review of required internal submission forms; facilitation of compliance with Federal, State, sponsor, and University regulations; submission (electronic and/or hard-copy) of proposals to sponsor.

Certification

Under the Clemson University Office of Sponsored Programs' authority, the CECAS Proposal Development Office is authorized to provide institutional sign-offs and final submissions of any CECAS investigator-led proposals.
