The State of South Carolina is under orders to limit direct interaction between people related to the COVID-19 virus. Following consultation with SC DHEC regulatory staff and in accordance with Clemson University directives to temporarily suspend direct public interaction, the CEPSCI Team has developed an online class to allow CEPSCI inspectors, whose certification expire on June 30, 2020, an opportunity to meet social distancing requirements while completing their recertification training before this deadline.
Prior to the expiration date shown on CEPSCI identification cards, Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspectors are required by SC DHEC to complete DHEC approved professional development training in order to be recertified.
Please recognize that any person who conducts an inspection without current certification, as well as any site inspected, is in violation of state requirements and may be subject to enforcement actions.
