Clemson University maintains remediation contract services for planned (non-emergency) and emergency environmental remediation site work. These contract services are managed by Environmental Safety for main campus and by Occupational and Environmental Safety for off campus facilities and the Clemson University Restoration Institute (CURI) campus. Instructions for specific locations and contacts for each are as follows:

If an incident/spill occurs in a research or teaching space on main campus, Contact June Brock-Carroll @ 864-633-6357 or email: email@example.com. (If June is not available contact Jim Grieger, Director, Occupational and Environmental Safety @ 607-229-0695 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.) Occupational and Environmental Safety contact will evaluate the situation and determine if remediation is needed.
If an incident/spill occurs at an off campus location (with exception to CURI Campus, Coastal REC, Edisto REC or Baruch Institute), contact June Brock-Carroll prior to initiation of remediation services. All invoices other than the work at CURI shall be sent to the office of the department with responsibility as defined in this document. Work initiated by Occupational and Environmental Safety shall not be paid unless signed off by the Director of Occupational and Environmental Safety.
