How to Apply
Initial Steps
The Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad supports all students pursuing international education experiences during their Clemson career. Eligible students must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and be in good academic and disciplinary standing. Students are encouraged to pursue international education experiences after their first year. Students interested in studying abroad during their first year will need to work closely with the Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad to identify applicable programs.
To start the process, interested students should:
STEP 1: Complete the Pam Hendrix Center Advising Application
- Fill out and submit International Experience Interest Form
- Watch Study Abroad 101 video
The advising application will help your study abroad coordinator have a more productive advising appointment with you!
STEP 2: Search for programs
- Use the Simple or Advanced search tools to discover program options
- Explore approved third-party providers
- If you are traveling outside of the U.S. for a university-related purpose such as attending an international conference, conducting research, participating in creative inquiry projects, traveling with part of a student organization, or similar experiences, you need to register your travel.
