Pathways to a Clemson Degree

A degree from Clemson is more valuable than ever, and we offer several admission pathways for students to begin their Clemson Journey.

Fall

Many students are offered admission to Clemson beginning in the Fall term. Students admitted to Fall may choose to opt into the Summer term or first-year Summer Pathway Programs.

Summer

Some students are offered admission to Clemson beginning in the Summer term. First-year students who receive a Summer admission decision must participate in one of our Summer Pathway Programs to continue at Clemson the following Fall term. We have a variety of programs available to kick-start and enhance our new Tigers’ Clemson Experience.

Bridge to Clemson

The Bridge to Clemson program is a selective guaranteed transfer academic program offered to talented first-year students by invitation only. Through the Bridge program, students make progress toward their intended Clemson major by taking coursework at Tri-County Technical College and engage with Clemson’s No. 1 student experience by living on our campus for their first year as they prepare to enroll fully at Clemson for their second year.

Transfer

Transferring to Clemson can be a great option for students who may want to take some college-level courses at another institution following high school graduation before beginning their Clemson Journey. Transfer admission is becoming increasingly more competitive but offers many students a pathway to their Clemson degree.
