Blue Wall is a Real Estate company focused on investing and developing in-fill properties in the Carolinas and Georgia that will benefit from the strong population growth and demographic shifts occurring within the rapidly urbanizing cities within the region. Through development, re-development and value added opportunities, Blue Wall properties are well positioned for long term ownership with sustainable returns. Prior to Blue Wall Mr. Wallin was Senior Vice President and served as member of the Management Committee of the corporation and Director of Real Estate at Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. (2008-2012) a private real estate and energy Investment Company. Mr. Wallin started up and lead Pacolet’s Real Estate activities which include; acquisition and disposition of income properties, asset and portfolio management of the Company’s real estate holdings, development activities, joint venture investments and land management. While at Pacolet the company invested over $150M in commercial real estate with a portfolio valued at over $500M with 25,000 acres of land. Prior to Pacolet, he was a Vice President and City Manager at Liberty Property Trust (1997-2008), a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust, where he led the Carolinas business division (development, acquisition, disposition, asset management, leasing) which included over 7.5M SF of office and industrial space in the primary urban markets of the Carolinas. Prior to Liberty Mr. Wallin was a partner and co-owner of RESMA Realty Advisors (1992-1996) in southeastern, PA which was engaged by corporations, institutions and high net worth individuals for investment, development and disposition of commercial real estate. From 1986 to 1992 Mr. Wallin was with Rouse & Associates (which went public as Liberty Property Trust in 1996) leasing and developing suburban office and industrial buildings in Philadelphia. Prior to Rouse, Mr. Wallin was the Executive Director of The Preservation Fund of Pennsylvania; a non-profit public/private venture that returned important historic building to economically viable new uses (1983-1986). Mr. Wallin is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Urban Land Institute, sits on the Small Scale Silver Council and is past chair of the SC District Council. He also serves or has served on a number of community nonprofit boards including; Ten at the Top (the spinoff from the 2009 Reality Check), Furman University Advisory Board, the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau (past chairman), the Upstate History Museum (past chairman) and Carolina Elite Soccer Academy. Mr. Wallin, a graduate of Colgate University, is married with three children. A skier, tennis player and committed sailor, Mr. Wallin participates in a variety of outdoor activities. He enjoys architectural photography and reading excellent historical fiction.
