Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Oregon State University
Dr. Jackson is an accomplished researcher, educator and academic administrator with over thirty years of experience. His professional career includes employment in both the public and private sectors, including management and leadership roles. He earned the Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He also actively participates with numerous professional organizations, including the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). He joined Clemson University as Department Chair in 2017. As Chair, he facilitated the growth of the faculty and staff to over twenty-five (25) and facilitated significant growth in external funding and departmental resources, including a $5 Million naming endowment and over $500k in recurring annual contributions.
