Curriculum Vitae

Drew Sisk is a graphic designer and artist making web-based work, installation, and print media. Blurring the lines between fine art and graphic design, his research explores the conjunction of media, politics, and technology. He maintains an active design studio practice, supporting clients in publishing, higher education, the arts, and nonprofit organizations.

Drew earned his MFA in Design/Visual Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 and his BA in Studio Art and Asian Studies at Furman University in 2010. Before joining the faculty at Clemson, Drew was Assistant Professor of Design/Digital media Tennessee Tech University. Previously, Drew worked as a book designer at Duke University Press and, prior to graduate school, he was Associate Creative Director at EM2, a brand design firm in Atlanta.

Drew’s work has been exhibited internationally, and his self-initiated publications are included in collections at the Yale University Hass Arts Library Special Collections, Joan Flasch Artists' Book Collection at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Claire T. Carney Library at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and James Branch Cabell Library at Virginia Commonwealth University.
