As Executive Vice President of Operations for Choate Construction, Tim brings 30+ years of experience in construction to the firm. In addition to establishing and overseeing the execution of the firm’s short- and long-term business strategies, Tim leverages his experience to advance the operational performance of Choate’s teams and build authentic, collaborative relationships within firm and the Charleston community. As Executive Vice President of Operations, Tim plays a pivotal role within Choate’s corporate leadership team, championing the company’s unwavering commitment to operational excellence for its clients while further cultivating its strong, relationship-driven culture. As an engaged, dedicated, and supportive leader, Tim embodies Choate Construction’s core values through his pursuit of excellence, dedication to fostering strong partnerships, and championing Choate’s hard-earned reputation.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Purdue University and went on to achieve a Masters of Construction Science and Management from Clemson University. He is an active member in both the Charleston community as well as the AEC industry, having served with Charleston Chamber of Commerce, Citadel Construction Engineering Advisory Board, Clemson CSM Executive Advisory Board, American Heart Walk, Lowcountry Heart Walk Board, and CRDA Board.

Tim enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with his wife, Jenny (Clemson alumni), their daughter and son. They reside in Charleston.
