Monica Gripko, Ph.D., EDAC, LEED Green Associate, is a lecturer with Clemson University’s Richard A. McMahan School of Architecture. She earned her doctorate in Planning, Design, and the Built Environment with a concentration in architecture and health from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has several years of professional architectural experience as a designer and project manager on a variety of project types and scales. As a researcher, Dr. Gripko studies interactions between the design of built environments and human perceptions and experiences, especially in workplace and healthcare settings.
