Rick is a principal in R&B Architecture in Asheville, and a lecturer at Clemson, teaching a fourth year Design Studio and a Design Build Practice course. He is the current President of the Clemson Architectural Foundation. Prior to moving to Asheville he served 20 years as the Chief Design Officer for The Beck Group, an integrated design and construction firm with eight offices across the U.S. and Mexico. He spent nine years as an Associate Partner with Kohn Pedersen Fox in New York. Rick has degrees from Ohio State University, Clemson University, and Columbia University.
