Matt Mundy is a values-driven leader and steward at Estates & Companies, the family-owned residential and commercial real estate development, management, and investment firm founded by his father, Bob Mundy, in Columbia, South Carolina in 1988. For more than eighteen years, Matt has guided the firm’s growth while upholding its core mission to “Create the Best” through quality, integrity, and long-term stewardship. Estates has developed over 4,150 multifamily units and more than 300,000 square feet of commercial space across the Southeast. He helps guide the design, development, and capitalization of these communities, maintaining Estates’ conservative, long-term approach to financial stewardship and relationships built on trust and performance.

A Clemson University graduate with a B.S. in Construction Science & Management and a minor in Business, Matt is a devoted husband to Ashton and father of four. Guided in service by his faith, he is honored to carry forward the family’s legacy of integrity, excellence, and service—honoring where the company has been while building thoughtfully for the future.
