Bo Clements grew up in the south now resides in Anderson, South Carolina. He is a lecturer of American Sign Language here in Clemson University. Bo holds ASLTA master level certification. He has taught ASL and Deaf culture studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa Bay for 20 years. Bo is a graduate of Gallaudet University with a B.A. degree and holds an M.S. degree from Florida State University.

Bo serves on the board directors of National American Sign Language Teachers Association, Inc. as a chapters affiliated director. Also, he is a professional development director for South Carolina American Sign Language Teachers Association Inc. He was a president of Florida American Sign Language Teachers Association; Inc. Bo gave numerous workshops included a workshop at the National Professional Development ASLTA conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves Modern Art, collecting tiki figures. His interests are waterfalls hiking, camping/outdoors/beaches and traveling. He has a DODA (Dog of Deaf Adult): a golden retriever. His name is Ryley. He already knows 15+ signs.
