Shamiul Alam is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Clemson University. Alam's research aims to leverage device-circuit co-design techniques, combined with emerging technologies, to develop energy-efficient, scalable computing systems for both room-temperature and extreme environments.

At Clemson, he has established the research group, CO-DESIGN (Circuit Optimization & Device Engineering for Scalable Integrated Nanoelectronics) Lab, focusing on emerging nanoelectronic devices, device-circuit–system co-design, and advanced computing technologies.

Saheeb Ahmad profile

Saheeb Ahmad

Saheeb received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2024. He joined the Co-Design Lab at Clemson University in Spring 2026 to pursue his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he worked as an Assistant Engineer at Ulkasemi in Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research focuses on device modeling and circuit design for emerging logic, memory, and in-memory computing systems, with applications spanning both room-temperature and cryogenic environments.

Abdullah All Hasib profile

Abdullah All Hasib

Abdullah All Hasib received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2024. He started his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clemson University in Fall 2026. Before beginning his PhD, he worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Khulna Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University, Bangladesh. He has research experience in TCAD-based device modeling and has worked on TMDC-based TFETs and TFET biosensors.

His research interests include VLSI, semiconductor device modeling, emerging transistor technologies, and circuit design. His current research focuses on novel transistor architectures, tunneling field-effect transistors (TFETs), device simulation, and emerging materials for next-generation electronic and sensing applications.
