2017 Spiro Institute Greater Good App Hackathon

WHO: The Spiro Institute, in collaboration with Orange Coat and the Watt Family Innovation Center, presents the 2017 Clemson “Greater Good” App Hackathon.

WHAT: We want to bring hackers together to solve non-profit issues. The goal of the event is to create a free prototype for an application that helps a non-profit operate smoother and more efficiently.

WHEN: The event was held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 5:00PM. Selected non-profits presented to the Spiro board and the Hacker team at the Madren Center. Hackers then pulled an all-nighter. The event concluded with a Hacking Team presentation at the Pitch Smackdown on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 4:00PM at the Watt Center.

WHY: To provide an immediate and impactful solution for the chosen Non-Profit

HOW: We are looking for interested Non-Profits to present problems in order to be solved! We are also looking for interested people to be a part of the hacking team! While this year's event has passed, please check back soon for updated application and event information.
