Facilities

The main arena is enclosed and encompasses 2 acres. The 140- by 260-foot dirt arena ring floor has offset fencing and seating for 3,000 spectators. There are two 50- by 200-foot vendor/exhibitor display areas that are conveniently accessible to the spectator seating with visibility of the arena floor.

The Expo Center is roughly 43,000 sq ft. with 33,000 sq ft. on the main floor with an additional 10,000 sq ft. on the mezzanine.

Connected to the rear of the main arena is an additional 45,000 square foot covered open-air arena suited for a second show ring or warm-up area.

The cattle complex is a 42,000 square foot multi-purpose covered area. The show/sales arena has a concrete floor and can accommodate livestock auctions and shows or exhibits. Portable bleachers and chairs are available to seat approximately 500 guests. This area can also be utilized for banquets and parties with on-site catering available. Other amenities include climate-controlled restroom facilities and office space, as well as concessions. The spacious livestock housing area can be equipped with tie panels for up to 300 head of halter cattle or with holding pens for 300 head or more depending on space requirements. This area is also equipped to handle smaller livestock such as sheep and goats. Electrical outlets and covered wash racks are easily accessible from all parts of the housing area. The complex boasts a modern nine stall milking parlor with a combination of side-open and herringbone stalls and a 1,200-gallon milk holding tank. The milking parlor is conveniently located near both the show/sales arena and housing area.

There are 4 barns with a total of 440 permanent 10- by 10-foot horse stalls with sliding doors. There are also wash racks and manure pits located around the outside of the barns. The fourth barn was added in 2006 and has extensive paving as well as close access to 30 amp hookups for RVs and trailers. Additionally, approximately 150 portable stalls can be set up in the cattle barn when it is available. A map of the barn and stall locations and layout is available to view.

There are 70 full-service RV sites on both sides of the main arena with 30- and 50-amp power, water, and sewer hookups for event patrons. Based on availability, the sites are also available to visitors for Clemson football game tailgating and trail riding. The Fant's Grove trail system is located across the street from the Garrison facility and has over 35 miles of trails. The rate for Clemson University football game tailgating is $40 per night with a 2-night minimum. A map of the RV sites is available for download.

There are two outdoor rings with all-weather footing on either side of the outdoor covered arena for schooling use.
