Clemson Experimental Forest Tours
Join us each month as we explore a different area of the 17,500-acre Clemson Experimental Forest (CEF). These fun and informal walks will expose you to a diversity of natural and cultural resources in the CEF. Meet educator James Wilkins (and special guests!) at a pre-determined location and carpool or follow us on the trail. The Forest never disappoints! Community Yoga at the South Carolina Botanical Garden
Join Melissa Powell, RYT 200, for breath-led yoga that is appropriate for both beginners and more experienced yogis. Discover how practicing in a natural setting, perhaps even touching the earth, can help ground and relax you. Three types of classes are offered: Garden Yoga (twice per week), Yin Yoga by Candlelight (monthly), and Yoga with Trees (twice per month). Registration required for Yin Yoga and Yoga with Trees. First Friday Walk with David Bradshaw
Join the amazing Dr. David Bradshaw for a tour of the Garden.  Every tour is different and a wonderful way to learn from the deep knowledge of the natural world that David possesses.

Full Moon Hikes
Experience the sights, sounds and sensations of a full-moon night. Please wear shoes and clothing appropriate for walking in the woods. Flashlights are not needed. Register online or by email at least 1 day in advance.

Hunt Cabin Open Houses
Celebrate the diverse history and culture of South Carolina. Programs take participants back to the nineteenth century through hands-on activities and experiences.  Contact: Sue Watts

South Carolina Native Plant Certificate Program
The South Carolina Botanical Garden (SCBG), in partnership with the South Carolina Native Plant Society (SCNPS), administers a Certificate in Native Plant Studies This program is based on South Carolina's rich botanical heritage. Through hands-on field-based classes, students learn about native plants and their vast diversity, plant communities and the habitats that define South Carolina from the mountains to the sea, all within the South Carolina Botanical Garden. Participants also learn about the significant benefits of native plants in ensuring biodiversity, and improving soil, water, and air quality, as well as discover the importance of sustainable and appropriate development, become aware of conservation issues facing native plants and plant communities, and become educated environmental stewards.

Stroller Struts
We will begin with a story and then we’ll set off on a Garden walk, exploring the day’s theme. These free, monthly programs are ideal for preschoolers, but all ages are encouraged to join in the fun!
