Spartanburg
Beth and Jack host several Freshwater & Macroinvertebrate workshops each year and build monitoring kits for purchase to support the program.
Hubs are partners in providing SC Adopt-a-Stream to volunteers and residents across the state. They help build energy and enthusiasm in local communities and provide support for the program and volunteers that blends with the organization’s goals of increasing environmental awareness and engaging all residents in the improved management of our water systems. A Hub may provide access to a monitoring kit or kits, a physical space for hosting workshops, and/or a space to ask questions, request assistance, process sample, or upload data.

Being a part of the Hub Network prioritizes assistance from the SC AAS State Team in the marketing and publicity of your organization/agency through creating social media graphics and promotion on SC AAS’s social media platforms. The SC AAS State Team will also provide technical assistance through printing educational and outreach materials and refilling/resupplying your kit(s). In addition, being a “Hub” allows you in on the conversation and up-to-date changes of the program. Please let us know if your organization is interested in joining the Hub Network!
