About the Office of Research Development
Consistent with Clemson’s historic land-grant mission, the Office of Research Development (ORD) supports faculty in their efforts to obtain extramural funding for world-class research creating new, breakthrough knowledge that contributes to the betterment of society and improves the human condition.
ORD strategically focuses on funding opportunities that will allow the Clemson community to make the greatest contributions to benefit our region, nation, and society at large. In doing so, ORD supports the ClemsonElevate strategic plan by advancing the research profile of Clemson University.
Request for Service
Clemson faculty who are working on items in the following category can request support from ORD:
- Large-scale, complex research grants that are larger than $1.5 million
Eligible faculty can request support from ORD by completing the Request for Service form; click the orange button on the left.
Faculty who are pursuing research funding outside of ORD’s scope should contact their Associate Dean for Research (ADR).
