Dr. García Rodríguez is a Lecturer of Spanish and the Coordinator for the Spanish 1000-2000 courses. Dr. García Rodríguez earned her B.A and M.A in Spanish-American Literature from St. John's University in Queens, NY. She later earned her Ph. D. in Spanish-American Literature from the University of Florida, focusing on the Hispanic Caribbean literature from the XX and XXI Centuries. At Clemson University, she has taught multiple courses in Spanish. These include: Elementary Spanish I and II, Intermediate Spanish I and II, Intermediate Spanish Conversation and Composition, Introduction to Hispanic Literary Forms, Hispanic Fiction, Pre-Columbian History through Modern-Day Latin America and Contemporary Hispanic Culture.
