Sarah E.S. Carter earned her PhD at Georgia State University in rhetoric and composition, specializing in the integration of primary research in the first-year and general education classroom. Her professional research and writing addresses issues in a multitude of disciplines. She has been teaching for over twelve years in a variety of classroom settings, both in person and online, to include high school, two year technical, and four-year research and liberal arts colleges. She loves teaching and helping students succeed within and beyond academia into their professional lives.
