Amy Griffin Sawyer earned her B.A. in Modern and Classical Languages from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and her M.A. in French Literature from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She also holds a diplôme in French Literature from the Institut des Études Françaises pour Étudiants Étrangers in Aix-en-Provence, France. Mrs. Sawyer has taught at the University of Georgia, at Trinity Academy of Raleigh, and at Providence Christian Academy in Six Mile.
