Corey Dethier (improbably pronounced "dah-chair") is a philosopher specializing in philosophy of science and epistemology. He's written articles on philosophical questions raised in climate science, economics, science communication, and statistics -- as well as on the history of philosophy of science and formal epistemology. His first book, titled Robustness, is under contract with Cambridge University Press, and he has plans for a second book examining the use of graphs in science. Before coming to Clemson, Corey held positions at the University of Minnesota and Leibniz University Hannover. When not writing or teaching philosophy, he likes to run, climb, cook, and hang out with his cat, Indy.
