Born in Hebei and raised in Tianjin, China, Aimee Mengyuan Li is currently pursuing a DMA degree in piano performance at the University of Georgia, where she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Ms. Li has been awarded in multiple competitions and performed throughout China and the United States as a soloist and collaborative pianist, including the Atlanta Music Club Scholarship Competition, the GMTA State Auditions, the United States International Duo Piano Competition, etc. As a winner of The University of Georgia Concerto Competition 2024, Ms. Li played Gershwin's Concerto in F major with the UGA Symphony Orchestra at the UGA Performing Arts Center.

Ms. Li earned her Master of Music degree at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music and Bachelor of Arts at Tianjin Conservatory of Music. Before coming to UGA, she served as adjunct faculty at Xinghai Conservatory of Music and piano faculty at Hebei University of Engineering Science, School of Music Arts and Media in China.
