Sharon Dorsey is a Digital History PhD student in the Department of History and Geography at Clemson University. She received BA Degrees in History, Psychology, and Bible and Religion from Erskine College in 2024. Her research focuses on the various ways labor and religion intersect in textile mill communities in the South in the early 20th century. Her undergraduate thesis explored the ways the Methodist Episcopal Church, South functioned and operated in textile mill communities in the upstate of South Carolina.
