Christopher Cline’s experience in the music industry has seen him wear a myriad of hats. As a recording, mix and mastering engineer, his work has received critical acclaim in publications that include: Pitchfork, New Musical Express, Shindig, Vice, Fred Perry Subculture, Uncut, and from legendary BBC radio personality John Peel as well as countless other outlets. His professional work also saw GRAMMY recognition in 2014 and 2024 for recording, mixing, and/or mastering. As a record label owner, Christopher co-owned and operated both Three Ring Records in San Francisco, CA (Best of the Bay 2007, GRAMMY recognition 2014) and Monolathe Recordings in Austin, TX, both of which were distributed in the digital and physical domains around the globe, received a number of chart placements in college radio reaching as high as #2, and whose artists were featured in festivals such as: South By Southwest, Iceland Airwaves, SF Noise Pop and others. Today he manages the musical estate and record label of world renown violinist, Dr. Daniel Kobialka, and can be seen DJing events such as F1 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. Musical projects that he’s worked on have and continue to see placements in film, commercials, and other forms of media. He’s also been seen behind the drum set playing with the bands Scrabbel, IV Thieves, We Is Shore Dedicated, Mentallo and the Fixer and more.
Christopher received his MBA with a concentration in the Music Business through a joint program at Berklee College of Music and SNHU, and holds degrees in Sound Arts from Full Sail University and Ex’pression College for Digital Arts.
