Kershaw County 4-H Clubs

  • Kershaw County 4-H Homeschool Club

    Led by 4-H Volunteers Ashley Branham and Carolyn Dudley, the Kershaw County 4-H Homeschool Club is open to youth in 1st through 9th grade. The club typically meets one Monday per month from 10 a.m. to around lunchtime.

    The club focuses on a variety of activities, with many projects centered around natural resources and wildlife. The location and specific date may vary depending on the lesson or plans for that month, though most meetings are held in the Lugoff/Camden area.

  • Eager Beavers 4-H Club

    Led by 4-H Volunteers Doris McGougan, Cera Burnham and William Burnham, the Eager Beavers return for the new 4-H year.

    This longstanding club has a proven track record of offering great hands-on opportunities for area youth.

    They meet at Sandy Grove UMC Fellowship Hall on the third Saturday of each month from 3:30-5:30pm. This club is open to youth ages 5-18.

  • Kershaw County 4-H Horse Club

    This Club is currently at maximum capacity

    Led by Rebecca Hudson with the assistance of Michell Holden and Amy Beth Lee Moeller, The Kershaw County 4-H Horse Club meets at 1035 Lee Lane in Lugoff.

    The meeting times are the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. There is a limit of 12 members for this club and it is open to youth ages 9-18.

  • The Clever Clovers

    The Clever Clovers is not just a club—it's a community of middle and high school youth who are passionate about gaining hands-on knowledge and life skills that prepare them for success.

    From learning how to change a tire, balance a budget, cook a healthy meal, or ace a college application, members gain the tools they need to build a bright and successful future. Meetings are held at Lyttleton United Methodist Church every other Tuesday, beginning September 2, 2025.

  • WTC Kershaw 4-H Club

    Led by Volunteer Leaders Alyson Mehm and Toni Heriot, the WTC Kershaw 4-H Club welcomes youth ages 9 and up. The club meets monthly at WTC from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., engaging members in hands-on animal and agriculture projects that build skills, knowledge, and leadership.
