The Clemson University Cooperative Extension Carolina Clear (CC) program provides coordinated, unbiased research-based education to South Carolina (SC) residents on stormwater issues and raises awareness of actions and behaviors to protect water resources. Through consistent educational outreach and public involvement, CC supports communities statewide. A cornerstone of this effort is a recurring statewide survey, first conducted in 2009, which gathers direct feedback from the general populations served. Survey results are used to:
- evaluate program effectiveness,
- assess public perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors related to water resources and stormwater management,
- understand how residents access information, and
- guide strategic education planning
