SCDOT EXAMS AND RETESTS
Important Exam Information
When you participant is registered for any SCDOT certification class, they are automatically registered for the exam the following day. Therefore, separate exam registration is not necessary.

All 2026 exams and retests will be held at the River Center in Saluda Shoals Park, Columbia. Particpants must be checked in and seated by 8:45am. Instructions for the exam will begin promptly at 8:45am with the exam beginning at 9:00am.
The use of a mobile phone or other smart device at any time during the exam will result in a score of zero (0).
Items for the Exam:
- Valid State Driver's License or other government-issued ID
- No. 2 pencil
- Calculator (not Mobile phone)
Hand lens or magnifying glass (optional)
