Campus living helps students stay connected to classes, campus resources, places to eat and the Clemson community. On-campus housing is required and guaranteed for all incoming first-year undergraduate students. Clemson Home offers traditional residence halls, suites, wet-core and apartments, along with dining options designed to support students from move-in through the academic year.

Room Types and Features
Housing styles vary by community. Traditional halls have shared hall bathrooms. Wet-core communities offer semiprivate bathrooms. Suites connect rooms with a shared bathroom. Apartments include a living room, kitchen and bathroom.
Most rooms use twin XL beds, and Clemson’s modular bed frames can be raised to create more floor space without a loft kit.
Dining on Campus
First-year students are required to purchase an unlimited meal plan. Continuing students are offered on-campus housing, subject to availability, and may choose unlimited or block meal plans.
Rates and Requirements
First-year and Bridge students are required to live on campus with limited exceptions for students who live at home with a parent or guardian in Anderson, Pickens or Oconee counties. Published housing rates include utilities, air conditioning, internet, laundry facilities and a University post office box.
