Academic Year
Academic year applications are for a continuous Fall and Spring housing assignment. Applications are completed in the Clemson Home portal and are automatically filtered for you based on your application eligibility.
During winter break, only apartment communities remain open. If you anticipate needing housing during winter break, you must select an apartment option.

Academic Year Application Types
First-Year
After you submit your enrollment deposit and activate your Clemson username and CUID, you can complete your housing application and contract. There is a one-year requirement to live on campus for first-year students. If you plan to live at home or are seeking an exemption, please review the residency waiver appeals process.
Bridge to Clemson
After you submit your enrollment deposit and activate your Clemson username and CUID, you can complete your housing application and contract. There is a one-year requirement to live on campus for Bridge to Clemson students. If you plan to live at home or are seeking an exemption, please review the residency waiver appeals process.
Continuing / Transfer
Space is limited, and the application process opens each Spring semester. Housing is neither guaranteed nor required for continuing students. Information about off-campus housing options is available on the Off-Campus Services webpage.
ClemsonLIFE™
After you submit your enrollment deposit and activate your Clemson username and CUID, you can complete your housing application and contract. In the housing application, there will be a page to add the ClemsonLIFE meal plan for the Fall and Spring semester. There is a one-year requirement to live on campus for ClemsonLIFE students.
