Student Achievement Measures

Clemson University’s mission commits it to educating students who think critically and deeply, engage complex challenges, and apply knowledge and creative talent in service to South Carolina and the world. Student achievement measures provide meaningful evidence in assessing how well Clemson fulfills that mission.

No single measure fully captures student achievement or the full value of a Clemson education. Clemson therefore evaluates student success through a portfolio of indicators that help prospective students, families, employers, policymakers, and accreditors understand student outcomes across the educational journey.

This page presents key indicators used to evaluate our institutional effectiveness. The measures, which are reported publicly as part of our commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, are aligned with the #1 Student Experience and the Transform Lives pillars of the University’s Clemson Elevate strategic plan.
