Accreditation and Assessment Support
Assessing the outcomes of our academic programs/services and maintaining institutional and program level accreditation is central to the University’s mission, integrity, and effectiveness. We provide tools and guidance to support:
- University and program-specific accreditation
- Academic program and unit assessment
- Fulsome and accurate academic program and center/institute inventories
- The University’s Quality Enhancement Plan
- Anthology system users
Our Data Portfolio
Institutional Effectiveness manages a robust suite of data services and products that inform strategic planning, accreditation, continuous improvement, and decision-making at all levels of the University. Our responsibilities include external reporting (e.g., SC Commission on Higher Education, NCES/IPEDS, US News & World Report); internal analytics supporting institutional effectiveness, resource allocation, and program development; and contributing to university-wide data governance and master data management efforts.
Data Reports
As part of our internal and external reporting initiatives, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) provides a centralized location for accessing key institutional and university reports. OIE both produces and hosts a variety of reports, including:
- Institutional Research Factbook and Factsheet
- Common Data Set
- Salary Reports (provided by Clemson University Office of Human Resources)
- Historical Enrollment and Degree Data
- Internal Daily Enrollment and Degrees Reports
- Fire and Safety Reports (provided by CUPD)
- State Reports (Agency Accountability, Institutional Effectiveness)
- Myriad bespoke internal reports
Data Services and Tools
We curate and offer a suite of data and analytics tools and platforms designed to empower academic planning, strategic decision-making (at the course, program, College, and institutional levels), and student success initiatives. Tools and services range from external SaaS products to self-service dashboards to custom analyses and tool development conducted by our expert team.
