Mindful Mondays
Looking for practical ways to handle stress, find balance and feel more connected? This four-week mindfulness series, based on an evidence-based program from The Duke Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults, is specifically designed to teach mindfulness and meditation as a way to manage stress and reduce anxiety. You will learn specific skills that help calm and focus your mind, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan and more. This course is open to students and employees.
Classes will take place from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on Feb 2, 9, 16 and 23 over Zoom.Register to take part in the series.
Note: There is a one-time fee of $3.99 for the MIEA app. The app is essential to the course, allowing participants to develop mindfulness practice and connect with the teacher.
