Major: Psychology

Reason for becoming an Aspire facilitator: I wanted to become a facilitator because I feel through my experiences in college that I needed the resources our campus has to offer and wished I had a better peer mentor to help me through my tough times. I hope through becoming a facilitator, I can create a strong connection to some of the students who come in jaded or skeptical about our program, since I felt the same way going through.

Favorite Aspire Topic: My favorite section is mental health because I know so many people who have suffered from mental illness, all well as myself personally. Educating young people about mental illness helps break down some of the stigma and gives people the chance to get the help they need.
