A Message from the Director
Welcome to our office!Since joining Clemson in April 2020 (yes, during the pandemic!) I am excited to see the changes we have initiated in Research Compliance and the potential we have to be an integral part of how CU conducts research in a responsible and ethical manner. We have moved our review forms and process to InfoEd to streamline reviews and continue to find ways to assess and improve our internal processes. We have not been without challenges and changes along the way but as an office, we prioritize the facilitation of your research in the context of meeting our compliance obligations.
I would like to remind you that while research compliance is never at the top of anyone’s list, the requirements are only expanding, especially if you are applying for federal funding. Our office is ready to help in any way we can. I encourage you to share any questions or changes you have regarding your research plans, or to share your experience with our office.
