Help the Garden Grow!

There are so many ways to get involved and help support the South Carolina Botanical Garden. We depend on the generosity of time, talent and funds offered by our volunteers and our members. To keep the Garden's 295 acres open year-round with no admission fee, we need the support of the community, fellow gardeners, businesses, teachers, donors and anyone who wants to help people connect with nature and culture.

Tribute Opportunities

Sponsor/Name a Bench

Garden benches are ideal locations for personal reflection and meditation or simply relaxing during a stroll. Garden benches are made of kiln-dried, sustainably-grown teak and are mounted on brick pads. Exact locations for benches are determined by the Garden's master landscape plan, but specific areas may be requested. For more details, please call 864-656-3405 or email.

Sponsor a Tree

Planting a tree adds enjoyment and life to the Garden for years to come. For $500, you may purchase a tribute tree. Garden staff will discuss with you the types of trees that would be appropriate for specific areas and will provide information on the tree and its future location. Trees will be purchased and planted, and a very brief note about the honoree will be added to the sign that identifies the tree. Tree donations cover the life of the tree only.
