Profile/About Me
I was born and raised in the tiny town of Cook, NE. My undergraduate years were spent at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where I received Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. It was at UNO that I was first introduced to the world of mathematics research, and I was instantly hooked. To pursue a career in math research, I came to Clemson University. In my time here, I have received a Master's in Mathematical Sciences and made progress toward a PhD under the advisement of Dr. Jim Coykendall.
Research Interests
My research interests lie in Commutative Algebra, especially in its intersection with Algebraic Number Theory. Broadly speaking, I am interested in types and structures of factorization in rings, and in particular orders of number fields and their rings of formal power series.
