Current Students

Clemson supports experiential learning, which is best achieved through Creative Inquiry, internships, global engagement and service. We offer many opportunities for students to explore the legal field through organizations related to pre-law.

American Criminal Justice Association

This is an active club on campus that hosts professional development events, guest speakers and an annual career fair featuring dozens of federal and state agencies as well as law schools from across the country.

Kathryn Williams Ervin Mock Trial

Each spring, members of the William T. Howell Prelaw Society participate in a full mock trial before a real jury in a real courtroom.

Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity

The largest professional legal fraternity in the world, Phi Alpha Delta connects students with mentors and helps them make informed decisions about their education.

Speech & Debate (Forensics) Program

Housed in the communication department, this is Clemson’s oldest competitive team; students practice the art of persuasion and regularly qualify to participate in national tournaments.

William T. Howell Prelaw Society

This society frequently sponsors speakers to discuss higher education and the law; it is also known for a mentorship program in which members become acquainted with Clemson alumni in the legal field.
