Design. Create. Build.

Design Excellence

The College of Architecture, Art and Construction is a student-centered community committed to collaboration, innovation, and interdisciplinary engagement. We prepare future leaders to design, create, and build across the built and natural environments through both undergraduate and graduate education. Grounded in critical inquiry and creative exploration, our programs empower students to address complex challenges and shape the world around them. The college offers a diverse range of disciplines—including architecture, landscape architecture, construction science and management, real estate development, historic preservation, city and regional planning, and visual arts—forming a dynamic continuum of design, creativity, and construction. With approximately 1,200 undergraduate students across five majors, six minors, and 300 graduate students in two Ph.D. and seven master’s programs, each discipline is strong individually while collectively fostering a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. Housed primarily in Lee Hall on Clemson’s main campus, with additional presence in Greenville, Charleston, Genoa, and Barcelona, the college extends its impact across regional and international contexts, connecting students to diverse settings for learning, research and practice.
