IE Alumni Awards Nominations
The Department of Industrial Engineering would like to acknowledge Clemson IE alumni whose contributions to the IE profession, personal achievements, career accomplishments, and support of others exemplify what the Department hopes for and expects of its alumni.
Categories
Young Alumni Award
Candidates must be a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. alumnus or alumna of Clemson University’s Department of Industrial Engineering who is between 5 to 10 years removed from graduation.
Distinguished Alumni Award
Candidates must be a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. alumnus or alumna of Clemson University’s Department of Industrial Engineering who is more than 10 years removed from graduation
Selection Criteria
- Contributions to Clemson University.
- Contributions to the Department of Industrial Engineering.
- Contributions to the Industrial Engineering profession.
- Career achievements.
- Personal achievements.
- Community service, mentoring/support of others, and volunteer activity with professional organizations and social groups.
Nomination Requirements
- Two or more letters of support (one can be provided by the nominator).
- Nominee’s CV/Resume.
- Citations, awards previously received, newspaper or webpage excerpts, or newsletters, if available.
- Submissions cannot exceed a total of 10 pages.
The honorees for these awards will be selected by the department’s advisory board from nominations received by the deadline of February 1, 2024. Self-nominations are welcome.
