Physical Security Student Assistants
Students assist all of Public Safety while employed with the Physical Security Division of CUPD. Physical Security Assistants patrol housing areas at night, helping ensure that doors are working correctly and remain locked, and report lighting issues. While on patrol, these student assistants serve as eyes and ears for CUPD. If you are looking for a part-time job and are interested in contributing to the safety of campus fill out an application.
ApplicationUPIC Internships
CUPD employs student interns through the University Professional Internship and Co-op (UPIC) program. Interns assist with Physical Security Operations, assisting with our nighttime environmental security and in the Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC) at various times of the day. This provides an experiential learning experience and real-world contributions to the safety of campus. CUPD also employs one UPIC intern position for a data analyst, assisting department administration and crime prevention to help inform enforcement, investigative efforts and departmental outreach.
